Addition Tricolor

Red, green and blue are called three primary colors. These three colors are mixed in different proportions to produce various colors. There are two basic methods of color mixing: additive mixing and subtractive mixing.

The so-called additive mixing is when different colors of light mix, they add their respective parts in the spectrum together, resulting in a new method of mixing colors. It shows the color relationship of light additive mixing. When red, green and blue primary colors are mixed equally, they can be obtained.

Red + Green = Yellow + Green + Blue = Blue

Green + Red = Magenta + Green + Blue = White

If the three primary colors are not mixed equally, various intermediate colors can be obtained, such as:

More red light + less green light = orange light

More red light + less blue light = pink light
